Synopsis
The Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed series follows Sam, a true Kansan on the surface, who struggles to fit into the mold of her hometown and its expectations. As she struggles with loss and acceptance, Sam finds solace in singing. This leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders who don’t fit in but don’t give up, proving that finding a voice and a community of like-minded people is always possible. The series explores themes of change and growth despite everything.
