CIA agent Joe tries to balance his personal and professional lives as the spearhead of the agency’s war on terror. Real-life military advisors helped produce a more authentic execution of gun handling, house cleaning, positioning, crew base activity, etc… Mentioned in Sovereign Awards (2024). I waited 4 episodes to really immerse myself in this for a long time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift that the numerous A-list actors who contributed to the creation of this work have given us, which, by the way, is enjoyable and well-regarded by many, despite the mixed reviews . Many viewers have been told stories from a similar angle, but this view here remains exciting while approaching a more confusing but well-woven plot, with female characters, each confidently capturing our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through, we can’t say if this sense of urgency as we discover more and more of what’s going on will remain at the level it is now, but given the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they’ve managed to bring this to the screen with, it’ll be hard to miss the landing, mainly because of the series’ solid foundation.
