There’s always one of those nasty, horrible types in the family. So watching the sisters plot and act out Jean Paul’s death is the most terrifying pleasure! The magic lies in the sisterly relationship, which feels so authentic as they watch and reflect on each other.
with convincing humor
I want to be part of this wonderful, twisted family. The added bonus is the restless insurance bros who add entertainment value as they try to solve the mystery. I haven’t seen the Belgian version, but it looks like this UK remake will hold its own, thanks to the acting, playful direction, and a script that offers so much after the first two episodes that you’ll become addicted to this dark comedy thriller.
