Synopsis
Set in the utopian Piltover and the oppressed underworld of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two legendary League of Legends champions and the power that will tear them apart. See the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Ella Purnell in Arcane. Fortiche Productions made a music video for Riot in 2013 called “Get Jinxed,” which already features Jinx and the city of Piltover. Riot was so impressed with the work that they asked Fortiche to make an animated series, which took several years to create. After the release of the first season, Riot announced that there would be a second season and that it would take less time to produce.

The fight scenes were badass and breathtaking
There’s a common saying that LoL’s big budget went into animation rather than balancing the champions in the game, and that couldn’t be more true. I didn’t expect this level of masterful animation. After each episode, they found more ways to delight the audience with incredible visuals and transitions. Even though the series wasn’t entirely in line with the original story, it’s still an intense story that created an interesting universe. I won’t lie, the first act didn’t really impress me, but the fourth episode completely won me over.
I wanted more and I don’t like waiting
My only problem with the story is that I just couldn’t get enough of it. Just as cool as the animation were the characters. Many character dynamics intrigued me and made me realize how much I needed them. I’ll admit that some characters were straightforward, but not all of them were predictable. Some even surprised me right up until the end.
The directions for all of the characters were amazing
Although the game was a love/hate relationship, overall Arcane was all love and a phenomenal step forward in LOLCU evolution. 8.5/10. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full list of new movies and TV shows available on Netflix this month.
